An important way to achieve more affordable and attainable housing in St. George is to gather and analyze data from for-profit, non-profit, and governmental organizations. St. George is on the path towards these goals, and we can do more.

Public Transportation
The SunTran is essential for a number of citizens of St. George, Utah. The opportunity for additional routes is something to consider and discuss with SunTran riders and residents. One concrete need is a low-cost covering for more popular benches, as many SunTran riders have noted that the benches are so hot in the summer that they are not safe to sit on when exposed to direct sunlight. This is particularly problematic for bus riders who have a disability and are medically required to sit while waiting. Thoughful cost-benefit analyses of proposals will improve service and save taxpayer money.

In St. George, the importance of listening to all members, rather than just a select few, cannot be overstated inclusive listening fosters legitimate and effective governance builds trust and strengthens social cohesion unleashes innovation within our community.
You’ll see Nathan recording Spanish language ads, knocking doors in every St. George neighborhood, and listening to community organizations and families.

Water Efficient Strategies
Talking with Zach Renstrom and his water conservancy team has taken a dangerous threat to our community's vibrance (drought and water shortages) and focused on agency, preparedness, and conservation. I support this, and we must work together to store and conserve our precious natural resources.

Supporting the Arts
An optimal way to share and convey valuable historical culture is through the arts. Art and theater are among the freest forms of expression. We must foster the arts—music, community theatre, and all types of artistic expression—as they often elevate our thoughts by demonstrating unseen (but often felt) connections in our community.
